Newborn, dummie or no?

Question

Curious, as to whether you use a dummie on your newborn or not! 
Iv been told by two midwives now different things 
One saying don't use a dummie as it can prevent you from reading the "feeding" signs 
And another saying it's totally fine as long as you know what you're doing, like you know you've fed and changed baby and they just need a little help to sooth into a sleep.

They're recommended now but it's your decision. Just remember that you can take away a pacifier but you can't take away a thumb.

My daughter wouldn't take one until 3 months when she started teething and it really helps her

The choice is yours I used them for my little ones, but they more so preferred their finger/hand except for my youngest it took until she was 2 yrs old to get rid of hers

Luckily none of my 3 never liked a dummy they just found comfort by sucking their hands instead

My daughter has used hers since 3 days old and we havent had an issue. Shes actually slowly starting to not like it as much and shes gonna be 7 weeks soon.
