Baby breathing weird?

Hes sleeping but it almost sounds like hes snoring which makes me think he has phlegm or something...is there anything i can do to help him? Am i supposed to do something?

If he's comfortable and not showing any signs of discomfort then let him sleep 👌. My baby has a really shallow sounding breath at times but I've just learnt that that's just him and its nothing to worry about.

Newborns have really erratic breathing which is normal until they get used to breathing regularly. They also are noisy sleepers because they have more frequent light sleeping stages, they might even cry once or twice but are totally fine.
