"You're a good parent if you question/doubt your parenting skills"

I generally don't agree with blanket statements like this. However, I've know several bad parents, who never ever doubted that they were bad parents. It could be possible that they just never expressed that doubt to me. I think I agree with the flipped version more than the original (parents who don't doubt their parenting skills are bad parents). However, I still wouldn't say ALL parents who don't doubt themselves are bad.
**i know that "good" and "bad" parenting is very subjective. So for simplicity, let's consider "bad" parents to be abusive.**
