menstrual cups?

Question

I've heard they're awesome and better for the environment and help save money, I'm just so nervous about using one. If you're in a public bathroom how do you wash it before putting it back in??? If it isn't sterile is there a risk of infection? Can it get stuck??? I'm so nervous pls help 😂

I got the Diva Cup about a year ago, and I will NEVER go back to pads. It's absolutely amazing! Once you get the hang of putting it in, it is so convenient and easy. I often wait until the end of the day to empty it, but if I must empty it in a public restroom, the easiest way is to pour out the blood into the toilet and then wipe off the cup with toilet paper until I can properly rinse it off when I get home.
