chemical pregnancy?

Has anyone else in here had a chemical pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I am going through it right now. 8 days after my expected period I started bleeding. My bpfs have changed to bfns. I've read online that this is common for first pregnancys but why?

I had a chemical my first try. It's such a painful disappointment, and nothing you can do to prevent it. Majority of the time there's likely a genetic defect which prevented proper implantation. It really sucks, and I feel your pain!

I've had it twice. An egg is fertilized but doesn't implant. Likely because it had some abnormalities and wouldn't make a healthy baby. Hang in there.

Happened to me today 😞 This is the very first time I've had any sort of positive test....even if it was faint.

This just happened to me today. I was 12 days late, got several positive tests over several days but a sudden negative at the doctor's office. Blood test showed only 20 HCG. Three days later  (today) AF returned.  😭😭😭

Going through the exact same thing. I should of started the 23rd. Started spotting yesterday. :(

I had a faint positive over a week ago then went in for blood work.  Doctor confirmed it was a chemical pregnancy.  They said it would be a matter of time till I passed everything.  Well today was the day and I have never felt so horrible.  I don't have to have a DNC which is good.  I do feel like I got hit by a truck.
