How long does it take to heal from a c-section?

I have placenta previa so if it doesn't correct itself I have to be scheduled for a c-section. I was wondering how long the healing process normally is?

I've had two c-sections and scheduled for my third on May 15th. My first one took 6 weeks to heal and my second one took about 10 weeks due to things not healing properly. So i'm terrified to think how long it will take to recover with the third one.

My sister had three c sections and it can take three to six weeks depends on how fast of a healer you are. I have complete placenta previa as well so hopefully it will correct its self or I'll be having a c section as well. Good luck

It can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks. They recommend taking it extremely easy for the first 6 weeks. I had an emergency section with my son 6 years ago, and I recovered fairly quickly, around 4 weeks. But a week I was up and doing stuff, walking to town, tidying  (although very slow paced). Xx
