would you let your teen daughter go to a friends baby shower?

My little sisters best friend (16)is having a baby shows on saturday and my sister informed me that 80% of the girls they invited said that they couldn't come because their parents think that she's a bad influence. This made me mad! All these girls are having sex too only my sister best friend was the only one who got pregnant. She's a good kid she really is she volunteers at a summer camp over the summer and is in AP classes meanwhile a lot of the kids who's parents said hey couldn't come goes to parties every other weekend and gets black out drunk! So my question is would you let your teenage daughter go to a friends baby shower?
