maybe she isn't ready?

Question

We've had our 5 month old sleeping in her own room for about a month now. During that month she CONSTANTLY woke up at night like 3-4 times and sometimes would refuse to go back to sleep. Well last night she slept in our room in her pack and play and she woke up once to eat and get a diaper change around 12:30 and then went right back to sleep and slept the rest if the night. Could it be possible she just isn't ready to sleep in her own room?

Very possible my son needs to hear my hubby snoring and needs to sense us close.  Otherwise he's up - when he's awake he follows us allllll over including bathroom

Very possible. AAP recommends room sharing for the first year, especially if nursing.

At that age I do start baby in his own crib at night, but once he wakes for nighttime feeding, he's in my room. I did this with all 3 of my boys. When they drop the nighttime feedings, they naturally drop needing me and stay in their rooms all the time. It works for me.

Personally i wouldn't put my boy in his own room until a year old but thats just my opinion. Maybe yes she could feel lonely/scared a bit?

I never put baby in another room til they can sit up and eat solids so about 6 months to 8 months. Somewhere in their. Depends on the child too. My son was big enough at 3 months he wanted to sleep in his crib so he's been in his crib in our room for almost 2 months now. He's been in our room for going on 5 months all together. It's been very easy for us because my husband works shift work so it works best to have him in there with me so he doesn't get too scared or anything waking up not seeing us.
