not wanting kids

So my boyfriend of about 3 years know and has known I have always wanted kids well just recently  he says he doesn't .. his sister moved in with us with her 2 year old and we have a puppy and them together can get crazy some days , causing stress on him. I asked him if he wants kids - which to me is a yes or no awnser , he says I'm in the middle / idk I don't want them right now , but doesn't fully know if he will ever want them, I love him I do ! I would not want anyone else to be the father of my children, but if he never wants kids I feel as if I will never be able to be a mom , which is something most woman dream of . Do I leave ? Or do I stay ? Like I said love him to death and would kill me to break it off about this, but being a mother is a goal of mine in the future
