sac but no baby

Went to emergency yesterday had pain in left lower abdomen but no bleeding,they did ultrasound and blood work, there is small sac but no baby er said 5 weeks sac but my last af was on feb 22 according to this I suppose to be 8 weeks. So much heartbroken. Going to another blood work after 3 days to see if beta hcg increases or not, if not then it's miscarriage. Is some one has been through this situation.
