When you start doing bi-weekly appointments what do they consist of?

I've still got a while before I start the bi-weekly visits (a month or so) but I know they like to begin doing that after 28 weeks. Do they start doing anything different at those visits or is it still just the quick vitals and pee test? Just curious.

I knew appointments got more frequent after 28 weeks but bi-WEEKLY?! I thought maybe just once a week or every other week instead monthly 😞

I just have one more 4 week one which will be at 28w6d and after that it'll be every 2 weeks. My doctor said that by 36 weeks they'll become weekly.

Quick appointments,  doing all the usual. It's important to check blood pressure frequently to make sure you're not developing preeclampsia.  In the final weeks you can have internal exam to see if you're dialated or effaced, but honestly that doesn't mean much at all.

These were always super quick with my last pregnancy. They'd weigh me, check vitals and measure belly. At 36 weeks is when they started checking to see if I was dilated and/or effaced.
