Any nurses or hygienists pay ??

Don't know about america but I live in Australia and I'm in nursing... some aspects of nursing sucks but if you find a good field your passionate about it can be really good... I work in a day procedure area so only mon-fri work with occasional on call work and I love it... here the pay works where we start off on a base salary and it goes up every year for 10 years and then peaks (only goes up from there if you take on jobs of more responsibility)...

As a hygienist you have a better schedule and pay. Provided you are good at it and find a full time job.

I have heard that recently it has gotten a lot harder to be accepted to dental hygienist programs because so many people are trying to get in. I'm not exactly sure which is easier to get into but maybe decide which type of nursing you would want to do then see if you'd rather do that or dental hygiene
