favouring one side

My son 3 months old today has from birth favoured his right side, he sleeps on that side , tummy time only faces right, sitting up while I'm holding him faces right . I thought he would grow out of it by now I have him booked in to see a chiropractor next week just to make sure there is no restrictions there anywhere. He gets quite upset when I turn his head slightly to the left not with force or anything.
