A customer telling me I should get rid of my baby?!

Question

I had a customer at work today that was asking about me being pregnant. He was about 35. 
He started asking how old I was to which I responded, 23 years old. 
His reaction was very over the top saying,

"OMG YOU ARE ONLY 23?! HOW OLD IS THE DAD?! HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THE BABY AND THIS JOB? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING? WHY WOULD YOU MAKE SUCH A HORRIBLE DECISION? YOU SHOULD GET RID OF IT WHILE YOU CAN" 
 
This really really did not sit well with me so I just simply said,

"Sir, I'm sorry but I would appreciate it if we did not continue this conversation, some of the things you are saying are very disrespectful. If there is anything else I can help you with other than this topic I would love to help you, but this conversation needs to end."

So anyway, he left. He wasn't mad and he even apologized. But what would you do?! Would this piss you off? 😡😡😡

PS, my boyfriend is nearly 27. We both have stable sales jobs. We earn a good living each and he also has a side business. Not to mention support from family, and both our jobs pay for maternity and paternity leave as well as day care, etc.

Unacceptable. I became a mother 2 months before 23. My daughter is 17. If I told you how she turned out you'd think I was bragging, so I'll refrain. I had my son at 25. Another daughter at 26. I was married. They were planned. They're doing exceptionally well at life too. Could not be more proud! I don't know why people share unsolicited opinions or advice. I just think they're bored and boring.

Sadly, a lot of customers think they have a right to an opinion on your personal life and your choices. What you told him was the politest way to word that.

When I worked at Dunkin Donuts, one of our regular customers noticed that one of my coworkers was heavily pregnant. The customer looked at me and said, "Look at this. Disgusting. Another black girl having a baby out of marriage that's living off of welfare and having babies to get more. My taxes at work." I responded with, "How do you know she's on welfare? Are you judging her by her skin color, or do you personally know her outside of here? Either way, it's not my business or yours, and it's not your place to spread around her business."
