Does anyone else go through this at almost 8 months?

My son is almost 8 months and started waking often during the night crying and soothes only at the breast. He wakes every hour and a half, maybe 2 hours.

I am exhausted!

He is also teething, but nothing shows.

He started to make steps 3 weeks ago. Yesterday he started to roll over by himself back and forth for the first time.

He is trying to go on all fours but didn't figure it out yet. We are helping him and guiding him, of course.

The last couple of days he's been a little down sometimes and bites his lower lip-i believe this is because his gums are hurting.

He also started to say mama and baba when his gums are upsetting him.

During the day he sleeps well, sometimes longer to make up for the night.

Also during the evening when it's nap time he falls asleep but only for 30 min, then is up again for almost 2 hours.

Does any one else go through this?

Update

Yesterday night my baby slept for 4 and a half hour straight, ate, then 3 hour slept, ate, then 2 hours slept. It was amazing, i got to recharge and i thought we were over the often wakenings throughout the night.

Wrong.

Last night he slept from almost 12 am to 5:35 am during which he woke every hour almost and ate a little. after he woke up he rolled over a couple of times, very content woth his achievment, and he was so sweet and happy that he can roll over.

But I am EXHAUSTED.
