So I needed to find out the name of this app my boyfriend had on his phone a LONG time ago, so I went into his App Store (on his iPhone) and the first thing that popped up was his history, showing tinder, but he already had deleted it... last month, my school and work got a little hecktic and I asked for like a week to myself (ended up only needed about 4 days) so when I asked him he said he "thought I was done with him for good..." And that he "only wanted to try the app. But didn't like it" 
It's just making me so mad, if he really loved me he would fight or wait for me... do you ladies think it's cheating?

You don't test your partner by giving them unspoken rules to "prove" their love, like "if he loves me he'll wait x days," that's unrealistic and unfair to your partner. You can't honestly expect your partner to live up to expectations he isn't even aware of.

That being said if he honestly believed your relationship was over, then what he did in the interim - when he believed he was single - is not really any of your business. If you were ambiguous about whether or not you were actually separating or ending the relationship outright vs still being together and not having any contact, then the misunderstanding is *your* problem, not his.

You have to decide whether or not you believe his story about him thinking he was single based on what you know that you said to him about the separation. But it's absolutely unfair for you to expect him to have "waited" for you if he honestly didn't know you'd be coming back.

Once you break it off with someone, you forfeit any claim to be upset about anything they do with other people.

If you were together than it's cheating but if you were temporarily taking a break from the relationship I wouldn't consider it cheating... however, that doesn't change the fact that it's hurtful to find out either way. I'm sorry, I hope you guys work it out 💕

If you were working and too busy and he had it then yes it would have been cheating, but you wanted a break. He could easily argue that if you loved him you would fight through your stress and not need space from him. In marriage there is stress and you don't take breaks.
