what are your thoughts on decriminalization of prostitution

I'm for the side that is for decriminalization and I am working on a project trying to see how many people are for and against it. My reasoning are it slows down sex trafficking if done right. Gives sex workers the opportunity to do better for the selves if they want. Stops the STD issue in sex work. Also stops the violence against sex workers because they have some form of protection. Also try are seen as workers and pay taxes. And let's not for get statistics which are being made up at this point because of sex workers fear of being arrested.
