Do belly button piercings hurt?

I really want a piercing.I just turned 18.L barley got my ears pierced three weeks ago but I'm trying to get my nose and my belly button pierced next and mayne a tattoo.Any tips or info that could help me?

Mine didn't hurt at all but then again I got a dermal in my hip and it didn't hurt.....

My navel hurt like shit, but I have a really deep belly button so I don't know if that may have affected it in any way. I have multiple piercings and I felt like that was one of the only painful ones for me.

I got mine done in July and I was a little scared but it was only a pinch. It's over in seconds. And it only hurt for a few weeks after that. I love it. I really want to get my nose done but I've heard a mix of people say it does and doesn't hurt. But I've come to the conclusion that I have a high pain tolerance when it comes to piercings because all of mine only ever felt like pinches so I hope I'm good.
I would say close your eyes, take a deep breath and hold it in and exhale the pain away afterwards, maybe hold someone's hand, and make sure you are religious with the aftercare.

For me, it was just a quick pinch of pain. The healing sucked though and took FOREVER for me 😂
