Help! OPK test; day after end of period???

Question

Hey, first opk use confusion???  I got this result, on first day after end of (6 days long) period (so cycle day 7).  I have irregular periods.  Any ideas how soon you can ovulate after period??  I am just surprised at how dark this is, for so soon in cycle.  I check CM too, which says not fertile yet, but not sure about this opk result and timings etc?!?!   Can't find answers anywhere! Thanks ladies. :) :)

Are you taking any meds or supplements that help with estrogen levels? Lh surges are set off by rising estrogen levels. So if you're taking medication within your cycle it can cause your estrogen to rise too quickly and you may get a positive read. Also, I've heard that some women get early or false positive opks if they have pcos.

I also had an odd positive LH at the end of my period one month. Never figured out why. I think some other hormones can interfere with these tests (not the hCG one though, not that I know of). Don't quote me on it though.
