Did you poop while giving birth?

I'm terrified of pooping while giving birth 😭 I really don't want to have anyone in the room during delivery except for my husband because of this. Did you poop during delivery?? If you did was it a lot or hardly noticeable??

It happens and you will be too worried about pushing and meeting your baby to even notice. The doctor or nurses won't say anything, they just clean it up.

I don't know, doctors didn't say anything & I didn't care enough to ask. They won't tell you. It's completely normal and they see it all the time. They just clean you up and go about the day.

I think the doctors and midwives are that quick and discrete about clearing it away you probably wouldn't even know x

I really thought I did, but my nurse said I didn't.... I did however let out the worlds loudest and longest fart I've ever heard in my life when I pushed for the first time. Pretty embarrassing. I had a room full of family members too. I insisted my husband put on music and blare it as loud as we could after that...

I'm almost positive everyone does but I'm a FTM and I'm due the 12.. I don't even care if I do. Honestly, they see it all the time, they clean it all the time, they probably won't even let you know you did. If you're worried about it, tell them beforehand you're sorry if you do lol just make a joke about it. It's not a big deal

I did. It wasn't that much but I really really didn't care, and neither did the midwives..it's all part of something they see everyday. I was like 'have a pooed?!' And my mum said 'it's okay (tmi) it's only like a Malteser!!!' But really it was more according to my hubby, but even so I didn't give a (excuse the pun) shit.

I didn't with my first and totally did with my second 😂 I was like "omg I pooped" and my MW was so great and said "then your pushing correctly" they clean it up so fast and I think I only noticed it because I do drug free births.
