I agree when it's conducted on consenting individuals who have been educated on all the potential side effects and risks and can make an informed decision to participate.

As long as the treatment has past animal studies and all participants are well aware of risks/benefits and all currently approved treatments have been exhausted I don't see why a consenting (possibly desperate) person shouldn't be able to participate in experimental treatments

As long as individuals consent to it, then yes. There have been issues where people are forced to take it without consent.

I somewhat agree to experimental medicine, so long as, it does it with consent and with the knowledge and understanding of what is being conducted and for what purpose.

I want to make sure this is not another Tuskessgee or Henrietta Lacks situation.

I agree, as long as individuals give their consent and the medication has shown to be productive in animals.

If it wasn't tested on animals and someone is foolish enough to give consent to be the guinea pig, well that's their choice I guess. I don't think they should be allowed, though.

But usually in circumstances where medicines have been tested on animals prior to human experimental testing, and where results have shown positive results.
