Depo- Provera = PCOS??

Question

Is anyone here suffering from PCOS and was on depo at one point?

I was on depo for one cycle when I was 17 or 18, I'll be 26 in a couple of months; and I've had irregular periods since it wore off. The whole time I was on depo, I didn't have a period at all and when it finally came, I was in horrible pain. It was so bad that my legs went numb while I was trying to soothe my cramps in a hot bath. I could barely move because of the intensity of it.

I found out April of last year that I have PCOS and it's been tough because I want to give my husband kids.

If you've been through something similar, please share. I really think they are linked. Thanks!

P.s. I haven't had a period in over a year now. For the second time 😒.

Was on depo for 3 years, osteoporosis at age 17, endometriosis at age 21 found out by ectopic pregnancy and tubal removal, right tube is blocked and I've had to have it unblocked 3 times since 2013. Recently diagnosed with pcos but no weight gain, can't keep weight on if anything (93 lbs) was at 160 lbs in 2011 (depo). Irregular paps since 13, irregular periods since 13. Chances of pregnancy low and would be high risk if I were to get pregnant.

Hpv shots also had a tie in with these problems. 
2013-current I've dealt with all the problems. 
Now I smoke marijuana to ease all the pain since pharmacudicals no longer work and I was flagged at hospital for "drug seeking" since I was in all of this pain before I started smoking marijuana. I don't regret my choice either. I will get pregnant the natural way, no meds, no more surgeries. If it happens it happens. I'm only 24. I won't make my sickness ruin my life.

i was on depo shot 6 years ago after i stopped after a month my cycles are normal

Yes I was on it for a year and now have PCOS my OB said that it definitely caused it.

I was on depo for 3 years during high school and it caused me nothing but problems. I now have PCOS and Endometriosis. I was told conceiving before the age of 25 has a 30% chance and after that, it drops to almost no chance. Been TTC for 2 years now.

I took one shot of depo in nov 2014 it destroyed me. I just found out I have had pcos. My doctor told me even tho it did mess with me that I more than likely had it before. My mom was told she was pre diabetic and had Low estrogen and would be difficult to conceive and took be pills. She was on antibiotics and I happened. I think she had pcos. It can be hereditary

I got depo ONE time... worst mistake of my life .. I was bleeding almost everyday for a year then I got checked for PCOS. On top of it I am a diabetic, I got diagnosed with PCOS almost a year ago and now I am terrified to try to even conceive. I do want a baby but it scares me a little because I have never had to deal with anything like this....
