Best Camera

Okay so I take pretty good pictures, but currently using my iPhone to do so, I have a 2 year old that I love taking pictures of and would love to hear of some good quality "professional" cameras that I could look into buying. I also love doing lots of nature shots as well. I just need something better than an iPhone camera.
