They can't govern at all. Nobody on the same page and all that time going against Obama for 8 years now have an opportunity to do good and they still don't have their shit together. This is a hornets nest of a mess.

The republican government officials, notice I didn't say party as the citizens aren't all on the same page, are disconnected from how reality works. I'm sure on paper it makes sense to them but the real world doesn't just abstain from unhealthy activities. They ignore all reason.

People are suffering from disorders, genetic diseases, diseases in general etc., and keeping them in the lowest bracket only perpetuates the cycle. It also means they can't afford the simplist of treatments. So minor health inconveniences become life problems. 
If the rep government had it their way there would be no funding and no shelter for our poor and disabled. Because to them those people aren't worth it or aren't working hard enough.
