Posterior baby?

So I am 37 weeks and 3 days. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and found out that my little girl is posterior. My midwife told me to spend as my time on my knees as possible to encourage her to turn. Is there any momma's out there that had a posterior labor? How did it go? I have been searching all morning about the possible complications for my baby, but everything I have found is about the complications of labor not what could happen to my baby in this situation. Anyone have any advise?

My son sunny side up. We didn't know until I was already in labor.  I felt him pushing on my hip the whole time I was in labor even with the epidural but it wasn't awful. He came out with a crazy sideways cone head and a little bruising but it all corrected itself.  I think if anything it slowed my labor some, and I pushed a bit longer, but nothing terrible.  No complications.

When my friend was in labor her daughter was sunny side up. She stalled at a 7 for a while until the nurse suggested she get on her hands and knees (no epidural but other pain meds instead) the nurse didn't get a chance to  leave the room before she said she needed to push, was at a full10 and had the baby in 2 pushes.

Mine was posterior.  Had a totally uneventful non-medicated home birth.  Only "complication" was that I experienced really intense back labor.  Hurt like crazy- but no danger to the baby!

Yes my baby would not move from sunny side up position. I had to have an emergency c section. Not necessarily for that, problems with her heart rate and her head was tilted back which made her stuck as well. But my contractions were really painful. I mean, I don't have anything to compare it to though.
