I'm tired of bleeding

So I started on birth control Loryna on April 16. Since last week Tuesday I had been spotting then full on red bleeding that Friday, the 28th and still bleeding bloody murder until now with no signs of it going away. Prior to pregnancy and pills, my periods are regular only lasting 5 days. My placebo pills start next week and I'm guessing even if I stop bleeding over the weekend that I'm still gonna bleed during sugar pills? That's almost a month of bleeding if I even stop. PP bleeding for 5 weeks was lighter than this :( I'm so bummed and don't know why this is happening to me. Anyone go through this?
