Boy vs girl names

I don't know why this bothers me but My son is in kindergarten and some of the names in his class are hard. Like gender wise. I always have to ask him if that's a girl or boy lol. I feel bad. Here are a list of the names.

Emmery- girl

Jackson- girl

Dalaney - boy

To me these are backwards lol maybe I'm weird.

The thing is I use to love boy names for girls. But it's so confusing for me when Jr tells me that Jackson wants to spend the night and a little girl shows up hahah
