I'm all for gun laws, but this is too lax

Ok. I am pro-firearm. Let's just get that down. BUT I REALLY would like stricter laws on them, especially purchasing AND carrying. THIS is way too lax. I've lived in ND 3 years now and there has been at least 1 shooting in a very public place by very drunk people. So far no one has been killed, but that's not the point. People should not be wondering WHEN some drunkard who's allowed to carry is going to open fire in Applebees or some bar downtown because his girl got looked at.

THIS only makes that easier for more people to do. Not cool, ND. And the dozen other states. HOW does this seem like a good idea?! And whose to say that the person carrying isn't a good law abiding citizen but now they get mugged for their gun to go out and commit another crime with it? (Although I would imagine you have to be pretty ballsy/high to mug an armed person).
