Question about mirena?? Need advise

Had my mirana iud for 4 years and in that time developed sever anxiety and depression and it now effect my relationship i am on an antidepressant medicine but idk if it is still helping . Did anyone elas have these issues?? If so what did u do to help them or did u just end up getting it taken out??

I'd have a chat with your doctor about your symptoms. If it's related to the IUD, removal should take care of it. I have a Mirena and so far haven't had any mood-related side effects other than my typical PMS stuff. Since the Mirena hormones are primarily isolated to the uterus and not throughout the rest of your body, I'm not sure what type of mood changes can be tied to the device.
