could it be baby???

Question

So I am 18 weeks today and  today I've had a pain on my left side..I haven't felt baby yet but have a feeling he might be hanging out on my left side where it's hurting. Could it be?

This is pregnancy number 4 for me. 
 I don't recall it hurting where baby was, unless they were stuck by my rib, or after i had gotten and injury where they were.
 That being said, when i feel where baby is sitting/hanging out, it feels just like you have something stuck in that spot. All of a sudden, you feel like someone just put a wad of something heavy,( but not really heavy) where they are. Like a water balloon maybe. I can feel it when this little girl comes to the front. Or if i go to stand and she changes positions, all of a sudden it is like a weighted pressure to the front of me. 
 Kicks are different feelings. But this is the best way i can seem to describe feeling where they are.

I'm 17+6 and pretty sure I felt baby at 17 weeks, but it felt more like a pop and not painful.

I was just told it's your ligaments stretching. So it's just round ligament pain. I had a doctors appointment today and asked about the same thing.

I've found that drinking LOTS of water seems to help the ligament pain. :)

I've had the same, I want to think it's baby but I have no idea what it's supposed to feel like!
