Ok so during my whole pregnancy my dr never really told me I needed the whooping cough vaccine. So i never got one. Now my babe is 2 weeks old and I have still not had one. I'm really nervous about her getting sick. Should I still get one or would it even be beneficial now that I am no longer pregnant?

Have you had one within the past 10 yrs? If so, I wouldn't worry about it, if not, just get one at your next appt.

I would still get it. There have been a bunch of out breaks lately. Also, while your pregnant, it does more for the baby than for you, or so thats what my doctor said. Never too late!

You need to get it. The reason they do it in the third trimester is because it protects the baby after birth for up to two months! But stillget it. Because you being protected can still protect baby

You should get it. I'm surprised they never talked about it. Whooping cough is horrible in the littles. And they don't start developing immunity until at least 6wks of life. It's just not worth the risk. It's not easy for the littles to fight that one.

She will end up getting the vaccine at her follow-up appointments. I don't think you should get it at this point.
