any cerclage experience??

I got a cerclage at 20 weeks my cervix is now 1 cm I'm scare i was 22 weeks and 5 days when they told me that today I'm 23 exactly Monday I will get steroids shots I'm scared :(

Don't be ! Be positive, your doctors are just making sure your baby will be okay .

Yes I got a cerclage at 17 weeks. I'm currently 26 week's 4 day's. I'm glad I did because my cervix was beginning to open I would of loss my baby for sure. My cervix was also really short at 1cm. But I had an appointment this Thursday my cervix is measuring at 2cm and something now I forgot. But Dr said everything looks really good now. Oh and they have me on progesterone shots I get one every week. Stay positive that's the best thing they could done for you and your baby..😊

Please try and stay positive. I wish I would have been able to save my son but I was too far gone for a cerclage. Make small goals about getting through the weeks. You will make it through you will stay cookin :) definitely rest as much as possible if they haven't put you in bed rest already.
