my ex still has my stuff

So about a month ago my ex broke up with me.       It wasn't a bad break up, but I was obviously really hurt.  We lived together, so after the break up I took what I could and left to my parents.  I've asked him multiple times for my stuff back, I even offered to go grab them, meet him, or he could drop it off and we don't have to see one another.  But when it comes down to it he comes up with some excuse or just doesn't show at all?? I miss him so much 😔. I just want to move on and it's hard knowing he still have basically everything of mine....is he holding on to my stuff for some reason?
