My Second Chance

5 1/2 years ago I was in a long term relationship of 8 years. With a man I thought I would be with forever. 6 months after having my beautiful daughter who will be 6 in a week my ex left me. I went though a rough patch. Started drinking and staying out all night. Mind you I was 21. My ex left me that November 2011 and I met my husband that March 2012. My ex is constantly degrading me, telling me I'm a bad mom for not getting my daughter all the time. But then he bitches when I do get her about getting her too much and even though she lives with him. Well after missing many first with her. Like her first word, first steps and everything else. I finally get a second chance to love someone like I love her, without having to miss out on part of his life. He gets to go with me when I go back to work. Don't have worry about finding a daycare, or someone else watching him. My little man is amazing and I love him. Couldn't ask for a better 2nd chance. Even if me and my husband don't make it (after my ex I'm always cautious). I don't have to worry about him taking him.
