How long is everyone planning to breastfeed? And why?

My goal is 3 months breastfeeding and then pumping and feeding with bottles just because I don't want my two year old still grabbing at my boobs like my niece does haha.

U should have one of your options less than 6 months. Mine will be a week if at all. Because I'm bipolar and adhd and have to get back on my meds immediately!

At least until 1 but will continue to breastfeed until she self weans. Breast milk doesn't stop being nutritious and good for them the second they turn 1.

I do not plan to breastfeed. I give props to everyone who plans to but as selfish as it might sound it's too demanding, I also want other people to be able to feed my son. I was a formula baby, along with my sister and my nephews.

I hope to make it a year this time! I only breastfed a few weeks with my daughter due to lack of education. With my son I made it to 8.5 months and the only reason I stopped then was because I had horrible migraines and was on many meds that weren't safe for breastfeeding for a few weeks and by the time I tried latching him again, he had teeth and wouldn't do anything but bite me. I'm hoping to make it a full year with #3! Unfortunately, I have to return to work 6 weeks after I have the baby so i will have to pump but it's still worth it for me and baby. It's the most amazing bond ever

This is my first baby so I honestly don't know how long. We'll just see how she and I both do with breastfeeding. But I'm also going to pump.

I made it about 3-4 months with my first but would have loved to go longer. I was 18 and no one really talked to me about breastfeeding or told me anything about an electric pump. I'm hoping now with more information and likely more support since I'm 28 now I'll be able to make it a lot longer. I'll be happy with whatever we get though!
