old wives tales about gender!

Hi everyone :) I'm so excited to find out baby's gender!!! I look at all of the old wives tales like the "ring on a string" test, and peeing in baking soda, and high belly low belly, acne vs less acne, morning sickness vs no morning sickness , etc and wanted to know if you ladies read these old wives tales and if they were pretty spot on for your babies genders or if they were totally off?!(:
