plan B?!

Me and my boyfriend have had sex a few times and I have not been able to get on birth control yet, we are always safe as can be and make sure he pulls out. Today the condom broke and he still pulled out, but we didn't know it broke until after. We are getting the plan b, but I'm still panicking and I'm terrified and crying. Is it effective? I'm only seventeen and me and this boy have been close for a super long time, so I trust him a lot. I need some reassurance right about now 😅
