Road trip at 6 months?

Question

I had planned a road trip around Iceland at the end of August. Now I'm 12 weeks pregnant, so by then I'll be 6 months. I've never been pregnant before... What do you think? Will a road trip at 6 months be fine?

Totally fine! I've been traveling a ton throughout my pregnancy. I've driven from FL to Ohio a couple times and have flown a ton. Just get out a walk to keep blood flowing.

**trigger warning** I did a road trip around Iceland at 18-19 weeks. I do not recommend traveling out of the country after the viability of the baby is established. If the baby is born and lives,(22-25 weeks it is possible) you will be stuck in that other country for the duration of the baby's time in the NICU and need to deal with postponing work, getting VISAs, health insurance coverage(likely none) out of the country and potentially citizenship issues for your baby. Also, you have to consider access to and quality of the countries medical system. I would ask your OBGYN. Also, depending on the weather and region of the country you are in the road conditions are variable.

Husband and I have to go to Michigan to pick up his son cuz he lives there and we live in New Mexico.  I will also be 6 months and we are driving. I get mixed answers from family and friends.  Some people say it's fine that I'll be ok and some others kind of scare me. So at this point I feel like I'm just going to ask my doctor tomorrow that I see her but I think I'll be ok just because I feel good with my pregnancy...how are you feeling ?
