mooncup cleaning?!

Hi ladies

After your cycle how do you clean your mooncup. While I'm on my AF I run through boiling water and give it a gentle clean, but once a month I want to give it a good wash out what do you use ?

Boil it on the stove with water but keep it moving so it doesn't melt. Most hygienic way to sterile it.

I’ve got little microwave sterilising bags designed for deep cleaning baby bottles - much easier than a pan and multi-use (like 30 times, so two years worth!) so environmentally friendly and less fuss.

Usually during my period I just rinse it out well whenever I empty it, then I boil it for 5-10 minutes and make sure any blood is out of the books and crannies before I put it away for the month. That's plenty clean and disinfected. Bacteria can't stick to the silicone, so just make sure you get any dried blood off.
