Ok so my boyfriend and I are 3 years age difference. We have been dating for quite a while now. I'm 15 almost 16 and he's 18 almost 19. Both our parents know we are dating and are totally fine with it. I just wanted to find out if it was illegal for us to have sex even with both of our concent. If it is, when would it be non illegal and what would happen if the cops found out?

Look up the laws in your state or country. If it's illegal and no one presses charges for "stagetory rape" then I don't think the police can do anything. It's only when a parent/guardian press charges that something will happen.

If you're turning 16 than you SHOULD be fine because it's sex consent on your choice. Other people looks at it differently and it becomes a big deal. As long your parents don't freak out to press charge or both parents is fine with it, there's nothing to worst about!
