Always feeding!

Hi Mommas. My babe is 1 month today and I am breastfeeding with a couple bottles of expressed bm a day. I had some severely damaged nipples in the beginning that are still slowly healing. Because of that, I have been using nipple shields. From about 4pm till 930pm, it feels like she is constantly attached to my boobs. She will go for 20 to 30 minutes each side, pop herself off and as soon as I get myself covered and cleaned up she is wailing like she is hungry again. Anyone else experiencing this?
