Fitbit, are they worth it?

I'm already a chubby gal and thinking about buying a Fitbit to help me stay accountable and not gain too much during this pregnancy. Hubs thinks they aren't worth it, I think it could help. Thoughts?

I have the Garmin brand one (cause I'm cheap) and I love it. I lost 10 lbs before I got pregnant. I never realized how much I was just sitting around and not moving. I also love going more steps each day and trying to break step my record.

I had my fit bit before getting pregnant and I loved it I have the charge HR the one that monitors your heart rate and sleep and everything and it has an app for the iPhone. I was addicted to it for about two months now I check it every now and then but I still like to sleep in it

Well if you drive a big truck on a bouncy road like me and my boyfriend it wont work right. Ours always counts the bumps as steps or stairs! So we hated them after that.

I love mine. I have a Fitbit surge. Before, I used a Garmin for strictly running. I also used a polar loop for tracking heart rate and steps. But my surge replaced them both because it's so versatile. I say go for it, especially if you're planning and hoping to use it to set fitness goals.
