They think I might have pneumonia. I'm 15 weeks pregnant. Is this going to be safe

Due to an auto immune disease, I've had to take prednisone. My OB said it was safe because the prednisone doesn't cross the placenta.

I had bronchitis twice this pregnancy and both times they told me I couldn't take it. If your doctor says it's fine I would trust him. They may be able to give smaller doses or something that may not be harmful.

Predinsone is considered to be safe during pregnancy. I have rheumatoid arthritis and had to stop treatments now until the end they offered prednisone but with being on prednisone I will cause both you and the baby to gain weight. The choice is yours but I refused to take it
