"They can wait until they're 18 and out of the house!"
Why do some parents think this way? Why can't you accept the way your child is and who they want to be when they're under your roof?
I can if it's something bad that you don't want them doing, that's understandable. But anything else I don't get.
Edit: What I mean by this are things your child may want to do that defines them as a person and what they believe in. Like not wanting to follow the same religion that you do or your son wanting to wear makeup. Things of that nature. Not necessarily something like getting a tattoo or doing drugs.
