negative test, missed period

my period is 11 days late, i took a pregnancy test from dollar tree when i was about 3 days late and it came back negative? i had what i thought was implantation bleeding. it was brown and when i wiped it was light pink, one night i bled what i thought was period but it wasn't enough to fill a whole tampon, it was just the tip.
