"Snowflake" 8 year old?!

Question

An 8 year old autistic boy was bopped on the head by Pence. Two Fox News casters took it upon themselves to ridicule this little boy, calling him a snowflake.

He apparently followed Pence around after being hit, looking for an apology. When Pence finally acknowledged the little boy, he did apologize.

What are your thoughts? To me, clearly his parents taught him to apologize when he hurts someone. Pence hurt him, so he expected an apology. Which to anyone else, is a common courtesy. Ugh this stuff just makes me incredibly angry.

He's autistic.... if someone unfamiliar touches him then it might have made him super uncomfortable. Honestly, how can you even make fun of a child for that? Even if I didn't know he was autistic I wouldn't have been peeved by a little boy following the VP around, I'm sure this isn't the first time.

When I saw the video it hadn't mentioned he was autistic, which doesn't really change how I feel about his actions.
Pence hit him and to most people, accident or not, that should be followed up by an apology. He didn't, so the kid held him accountable and got what was due to him. The kid even got his attention politely. It was cute and the kid has manners, I thought conservatives of all people would appreciate that 😐
Besides the fact these adults were making fun of a kid, but on top of that as newscasters that's very inappropriate, they should be telling the news not voicing opinions.

Seems like the kid just wanted an apology and got what he was seeking 🤔 no harm no foul.. I wouldn't call him a snow flake.. it'd be snowflake like if he ran to twitter and cried about it.
