relationship advice?
Lately my boyfriend and I have been arguing a lot more than usual. The thing you should know about us is that we have a long distance relationship. He's in KY and I'm in MO. Our lives have taken us different places but we so badly want it to work out. The thing is, and we've talked about it, he hates when I go out. I don't even like alcohol that much like I usually get one.. anyways I told him I was going to my friends house and he got salty and annoyed with me like he always does about this sort of thing, and I told him I didn't belive there would be guys there. But to me that's not really the point. I fear he doesn't trust me, but I've done NOTHING that I can think of to ruin his trust. I rarely go out, he's attatched, super hard core.. it may just be nerves but the way he voices himself sometimes can really rub me the wrong way. Anyways. I just need help on how to handle this? I don't want this to be the breaking point of our relationship.. I said "going to my girl friends house for a drink" and he went into this. I called him when I got to my friends and proved there was no boys over a FaceTime call. But it still didn't keep him from being grouchy all night long, ruining my fun in a way.. ALSO! Important. Before my dear Jarrit I had not been in what I feel to be a totally "normal" relationship.. the guys I used to date were unusually free flowing and "eh do whatever, just be loyal and be home" and it's taken a major adjustment to get used to Jarrit's ways. I will say, that by far he treats me the best. I guess I'm just mildly condfused as to how I go about having fun while making him comfortable? I was simply going to another females house for a glass of whatever she wants to mix for me. I'm new to the entire "college" scene. But I don't wanna coop myself inside either. I don't know where to find that happy medium for us both.
