anxiety medication while pregnant

Okay NOO BASHING, I only want input from people that have been through what I'm going through. Back story is that I was on Xanax 2 mlg 3 x a day for sever panic disorder and social anxiety for about 4 years. I stopped before I got pregnant ( with medical attention ) & I am now 25 weeks pregnant. The last few weeks have been hell for me with panic attacks so I called and scheduled an appointment with my psych. He did not want to put my on Xanax but after listening to me and checking my vitals (heart rate was 105 and BP was also high) and the amount of sweat and shakiness I had, he said that he was prescribing me .5 three x a day because my stress was much worse for the baby. Has anyone else been prescribed a benzo for panic throughout their pregnancy? Is your baby okay? Please help me.
