One month old teething?

My 6 week old has been fussy all day and constantly sucking on his hands, or anything that comes near his mouth really or basically clawing at his face.  I just had a thought could he be teething or he's just probably having a bad day? Have your babies gone through teething early?

The sucking on hands sounds like maybe he's hungry? They go through growth spurts about every 2 weeks. 6 weeks seems a bit early but you know what? Every baby is different and some are born with teeth even!! Lol so you never know! You will notice when your baby teeths that there is lots of drool, hot or red cheeks and chewing on fingers and toys. Even a low grade fever and mucus in poop. My daughter started at 2.5 months and got her first teeth right before she was 6 months old. It was a TOUGH go!! Disrupted sleep too! It can happen as early as 2.5-3 months!! Keep a look out! :)

At that age my daughter would suck her hand when she was hungry. She's now 11 weeks and just likes to suck them even when she's not hungry. They like to suck on things, it doesn't necessarily mean they're teething.
