Depression during pregnancy
Has anyone experienced depression during pregnancy? I am prone to depression & anxiety and lowered my medication dose early on in pregnancy because I felt that was the best choice. I still feel that way, & I want to stick to the plan I made with my OB of increasing my dose right after babe is born.
However, I've started feeling really down the past few weeks. I am losing motivation which increases the guilt I already feel about what I eat, how much I do (or don't) exercise, etc. I have just under 11 weeks left, & I feel like I suck at being a Mom already.
I made a plan with my sister to meet up a few nights each week to walk, & I'm going to add an Omega supplement since my OB said there's early research showing that's positive for Mom's mental health, in addition to being good for baby, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, & if you have any tips you can share on how you made it through without crying or sleeping all the time & feeling like a failure.
